I am very pleased to hear that you like my LINEGAME.EXE from
82158 Aug 17 1990 garbo.uwasa.fi:/pc/ts/tsgmec11.zip
tsgmec11.zip Timo's educational games: ascigame,linegame,wordexam

Yes, you are absolutely right. There is a silly round-off bug in my
program which I have just corrected for the next version coming out
in the near future. In fact looking at it I noticed that there was
another bug in the same procedure. The result was to be given with
one decimal, but the decimal was always came out zero.

No, I do not think I'll do that. The purpose of the game is to teach
the conventions of analytic geometry to the user, not to be easier.

Then you have an excellent opportunity to try to make her
understand, since obviously the game gives her the motivation to
try. If so, my game has served its most important purpose.

The same applies. That would dilute what I wish to teach the user.

Excellent, just excellent! That is exactly what you should do to
enhance the learning process.
Thank you for the nice and useful feedback. I welcome and appreciate
it.

That is a nice suggestion, but there are two reasons why I can't
adopt it. First, I am not familiar enough with the soundex
algorithm. Second, this is more of a learning aid than a game.
Spelling right is part of learning a foreign language. English is a
prime example since words are not pronounced like they are spelled.
(In Finnish they are.)

It is switch for a case-insensitive comparison that also ignores
hyphens and the potential spacing. This _is_ covered by the
documentation in TSGMEC.INF :-).

That is a very generous offer, and much appreciated. However, it is
not necessary, since making the required vocabularies by the user
are part of the intended learning process.
